Instruction for Use
If you choose to receive Larvae...
Step 1

Receive small larvae (caterpillars) by mail. Remove and discard the lid and filter paper on the container. Add the food to the nursery dish
then add the larvae.
Twist dish into the base of the Nursery.

Step 2
|
Larvae will form their chrysalises on the sides of the Nursery and on
the net cap. Remove the food dish, clean and store to use again. Replace with
lace strip dish and hang lace strip from the top of the Nursery. Emerged
butterflies will roost and dry their wings.

If you choose to receive
Chrysalises...
Step 3
|
Hang lace strip from the top of the Nursery. Place chrysalises on lace
strip at the base of the Nursery. Emerged butterflies will roost and dry their
wings.

Step 4
|
Make a wish for each Painted Lady Butterfly and watch them fly
right from the nursery! OR Feed, observe and enjoy for weeks in
.
The Painted Lady Butterfly's normal lifespan is 2-3 weeks.
